At Priority 1 Signs, we believe in creating real opportunities for the next generation—not only in the sign and graphics industry, but across multiple trades and business paths. Through our partnership with the Reicherter Foundation, we proudly support apprenticeship programs that provide students with hands-on training, real-world experience, and the foundation needed to build successful careers or even start their own businesses in the industry of their choice.
Our mission is to teach practical skills, business fundamentals, and emerging technologies that empower students to enter the workforce with confidence—or launch their own ventures.
Our Apprenticeship Programs
Our programs are designed to prepare students for both employment and entrepreneurship by combining real shop experience, mentorship, and exposure to modern business operations. Apprentices gain hands-on training across disciplines such as:
- Sign production, printing, and fabrication
- Installation and technical services
- Design-to-production workflow
- Emerging production technologies
- Business operations and workflow management
- Entrepreneurial fundamentals for starting and scaling a business
In addition to training within Priority 1 Signs, we actively support apprenticeships for other industries and trades, helping students gain experience in the field that aligns with their career goals.
Entrepreneurial Pathway
For students who aspire to become business owners, our program also focuses on:
- Understanding how a business operates day-to-day
- Client management and communication
- Production planning and problem-solving
